This page explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website and join the waitlist. The short version: we collect as little as possible, nothing runs without your consent, and your data is never sold.

Hosting and server logs
When you visit this site, our hosting infrastructure processes standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) to deliver the page securely and detect abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after a short retention period of [X days].
Cookies and local storage
This site works without tracking cookies. We use one functional cookie and two local-storage entries:
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie) — remembers your language choice after you use the EN/DE switch.
- animus-consent (localStorage) — stores your cookie-consent decision.
- animus-calm (localStorage) — stores whether you enabled calm mode.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 only if you agree in the consent banner. Until then, no Google script is loaded. Measurements are configured with anonymized IP addresses. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we process your first name, email address, and the preferences you choose — solely to manage the private beta waitlist and contact you about it. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time.
We use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) as our processor to store and manage waitlist contacts. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Brevo.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and export your data, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: [email address].
